Graduates earn 1,796 degrees, certificates from Maysville Community and Technical College


About 24.8 percent of the 1,796 degrees and certificates handed out by Maysville Community and Technical College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Maysville conferred 382 certificates and 64 associate's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in licensed practical/vocational nurse training. Data shows the school gave out 188 certificates in licensed practical/vocational nurse training, followed by 176 certificates in general business administration and management and 176 certificates in welding technology/welder.

The college enrolled 3,495 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
