The Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) Business Outreach Program wants to help small business owners get started on the right foot and take the mystery out of business tax obligations. To do that, they offer a handbook for new and small business owners and presentations where they can learn more and get their questions answered by experienced tax professionals. Join us as for this two-part series on your small business tax obligations.
Part 1: Start Strong — Indiana Business Taxes for New & Small Business
This presentation is geared towards aspiring entrepreneurs and those just starting their small business. It’s also a great refresher for existing businesses. We’ll cover some basic information about Indiana business taxes including how to register to collect and remit state taxes, an overview of common tax types your business may deal with and how to file and pay business taxes correctly.
